About the BELOVED Project:
When my own daughter was ill, I feared I'd never have professional photographs of her. We had no money, no energy, and no time; then I met other parents who were never able to have professional portraits taken of their children due to a struggle with illness. So, in honor of my daughter and other families that face this struggle today, I have created and refined my own BELOVED Project.
Mission Statement:
On the first Saturday of every month, I aim to offer (1) free photography session for the family of a child facing serious or detrimental illness.
*I will try my best to achieve this goal each month, though circumstances may arise outside of my control that prevent me from it. For the sake of privacy and in the interest of all involved, I will not require proof of said illness. Sessions will last up to one hour, and the participants will receive (30) professionally-edited photographs provided electronically at no charge. Session availability subject to change.
